2024 Legal and Consulting Costs, Hours, and Supporting Detail
Document-based summary from Whittles Owner Portal records (as at recording date)
In this video, I review the Corporation’s legal and consulting expenses incurred in 2024, based on what is visible in the Whittles Owner Portal at the time of recording.
I prepared a simple Excel workbook using the invoice PDFs available in the portal, with a focus on three things:
- how much was paid,
- what hours were billed, and
- what supporting detail is included with the invoice packs.

Vendor breakdown (hours and cost as shown in the workbook):
JONE09 (Jones Harley Toole): 174.6 hours, $75,830
ASSE93 (Asset Consulting): 726.5 hours, $71,250
GKSP07 (GKS Properties): 219.0 hours, $21,900
Supporting detail comparison in the invoice packs (as visible in the portal at the time of recording):
JONE09 invoices include a “Schedule of Attendances” (staff initials/names shown, dates listed, short task descriptions)
For ASSE93 and GKSP07 invoice PDFs shown, I do not see an itemised timesheet or daily work log attached
A practical governance question for owners: whether the Corporation should require and retain itemised timesheets/work logs for hourly-billed work so owners can understand what work was performed
Request for supporting documents (where they exist) to be added to the record set for owner visibility
